A native Hoosier, Chris was born in Evansville and grew up in Saint John.

Drawn to the beautiful campus, small-school feel, strong reputation and exciting NCAA Tournament run, Chris decided to attend Butler University in Indianapolis. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Lacy School of Business.

Chris grew up a diehard sports fan and carried an intense desire to work in the sports industry, especially for his favorite team - the Indianapolis Colts. On his way to achieving that goal, Chris started as the Butler University Athletics Beat Writer for The Indiana Sports Report and later became Senior Writer & Marketing Director. These roles opened up more doors as Chris went on to work for Indiana Sports Corp, NCAA and the Indianapolis Colts.

Later in his career, Chris was assigned to a team project while working at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Chris introduced the idea of Augmented Reality, which sparked a newfound passion for him as he worked to build his first AR experiences.

Ever since 2018, Chris has continued his work building AR experiences. Chris has continued to develop his skills by taking classes to become Unity3D certified and build VR & XR projects.

Outside of his development work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family as Dad, spending time with his friends, going to the gym, playing basketball and golf, scuba diving, recording music, and watching his favorite teams live and on TV
